When making the decision to sell your accommodation business a number of questions come to mind from my experience. When is the right time to sell? How much is my business actually worth in the current market? Should I finish the refurbishment before selling? Do I need a broker? How many years do I need on my lease to sell? What will I do next? And so on…believe me I have been there! I have been fortunate to be involved in more than 50 transactions as well as having been a vendor myself three times. And they were all different! The answers to these questions vary from business to business, however there are some common themes. If it’s not the right time now maybe it is in 12 months?! It is essential to have an exit plan anyway. I am happy to assist you in making the decision on the best time to go to market.
